Rebecca's 2021 Christmas Home Tour - Kinwoven
BOOK A VIRTUAL CONSULT WITH REBECCA

I have been so expectant for this time of year since moving into my new home in Tulsa! After spending 13 years sharing my Christmas decorations in my home in San Diego on YouTube we have had so many special moments together. But this year I am so excited to kick off the first Christmas in this new home. As I began to dream up what this new home and season of life would mean for me, I went back to my roots and focused on what brings me joy. If you’ve been following me for awhile, then you know that I fell in love with music when I was very young. After bringing a baby grand piano to this house it solidified my first Christmas theme here: Music!

The Entryway

In this part of my home, I decided that I wanted incredible garlands to frame the main parts of the house. So after you are greeted by this gorgeous vignette, you immediately take in the wonder of the garlands. It is as though they are inviting and drawing you into the living spaces of the home and I just love that!

The Living Room

Just like last year, we put two Christmas trees in the bay windows on either side of the house, one in the living room and one in the dining room. I love that you can see them from the outside of the house at night like a warm Christmas welcoming. For the mantle, I went with a lush pine garland that looks so natural and full! Then I finished it off with brass bells and our cozy knit stockings. I wanted this space to feel like you could come in here and snuggle up and be comfy!

The Music Room

This room has become the center of my joy lately. Being able to turn on the player piano and sing along to Christmas music has been such a treasure! I absolutely love the view of it from the living room. On the inside I decided to decorate the built-ins with some classic Robeson Christmas items – Santa, trees, and beautiful crystal.

The Sunroom

I knew as soon as I came into this house that this room would be a favorite of mine too. I decided to put the tree in the sunroom and I have to say – it’s gorgeous! You can see it from the outside of the house at night, but also beautifully sparkling during the day too. For the tree, I searched from vintage instruments and actually wired them into the tree! Then I also used clumps of colored ornaments and spinners to bring the tree to life.

The Family Room

As the room that I spend a lot of time unwinding in, I wanted this room to be comfortable but still put-toghether. And I believe that is just what I accomplished here! Christmas pillows, nutcrackers, carolers, and half-garlands make me feel at home and at peace for the holidays.

The Kitchen

Last, but not least is the kitchen. While some people do not decorate their kitchen for the holidays, I absolutely love adding some holiday cheer to every room. In here I decided to frame the window with some simple and beautiful garland and incorporate a couple of vignettes on the counters. This year I did an update to a VERY popular DIY I made 8 years ago: the book wreath. I took music pages to create this wreath and tie in the theme. What do you think?! You can watch the original Book Wreath video here and the new one here.
