Your centerpiece can be the star of the show or a missed opportunity when it comes to setting a grand table for the holidays. We certainly take every opportunity to make a statement when we host!

Here are our go-to basics for building an amazing centerpiece:

1. Put Down Your Runner or Tablecloth

It’s the foundation for the table and you have to start somewhere!

2. Add Chargers or Plates

You want to be able to see where your place settings are going to be. This will prevent you from over-building your centerpiece. Once you begin it’s quite easy to forget that there must be room for your guests to actually eat!

3. Lay Down Your Base Greenery

Garland is a great and easy base to use, but you can anything that you like!

4. Add Candles for Ambiance

Candles are a must in our book! Lighting has such a huge impact on the overall tone of the room. Just a few candles can transform the entire room!

5. Fill In Any Spaces

The last step is to fill in any gaps with flowers or other greenery. Whether you use fresh flowers or faux greenery, this is where you can get creative and throw together something totally your style!
